Louis is a standup comedian, actor, writer and director. I swear to god he is actually all those things.

Here are some recent highlights. After that we'll start from the beginning...

Louis has been cast to star with Ricky Gervais in a new film entitled "This Side of the Truth", which is written and directed by Ricky Gervais.

Louis was the star and creator of HBO's first and only multi-camera sitcom "Lucky Louie" which ran for one season and then was cancelled.

Louis starred in his own one hour standup special on HBO called "Louis C.K.: SHameless" which was critically acclaimed. A year later, he shot his second Hour SPecial called "Louis C.K.: Chewed Up" at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston Mass.

Louis recently signed a deal with CBS to write and create a new series pilot, which he is writing with Pamela Adlon, who played his wife on Lucky Louie.

Louis had substancial parts in two other films "Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins" starring Martin Lawrence and "Diminished Capacity" starring Matthew Broderick and Alan Alda.

Louis wrote a film called "I think I Love my Wife" with Chris Rock.
